I replaced two bottle holders on my bike. I have a plastic bottle and a stainless steel bottle. My old bottle holders would not hold the bottles securely and they would rattle around. Also, if I hit a big bump, they would bounce out. My new bottle holders have the plastic buttons that hold the bottles securely. They are a big improvement over my old ones.

Tight fit keeps your bottle secure

I’ve had water bottle holders which are too loose and allow the water bottle to fall out under very bumpy conditions. This isnt one of them. This water bottle holder is great for sport bottles and allows easy access as well as not getting in the way of your legs/feet while pedaling. I would absolutely buy another to replace my other water bottle holder as this one seems to be much better quality.
