I ordered a 1xl and she wears a 2x on Amazon purchases. THESE FIT and did not roll... she wore them all day the day after Christmas. So, I'd say consider sizing down.

These are mostly cotton. They are very comfortable and dry. They are gentle for hidradenitis suppurativa lesions in sensitive areas. The inseam has a low profile. I find that the hem area doesn't cling to my legs, so they ALMOST look like bermuda shorts rather than bike shorts. Anyway I've been wearing these every day for over two years now and I will buy more. (A lot of mine in current rotation were purchased 5 years ago and they're still wearable, although faded.
