These PlayBolt Mini Basketballs (3 total) with hand pump are the perfect size for indoor and outdoor play. I got these for my 5-year old German Shepherd/Belgium Malanois Puppy, actually...not a child! I can see how a child, even an adult, would love playing mini hoops with these balls..they are just mini versions of a regular Basketball! For my Puppy, though, I didn't air them up completely...so he could toss them back to me -- yes, he throws the balls (all round objects) bact to me! He thoroughly enjoys playing ball...catch, fetch, toss, retrieve, and do it all over again. He does have a bit of a difficult time with the regular sized Basketballs, even deflated. With these, though, he does get a good enough grip on them to catch and toss...as long as it's not fully aired up. He likes them so much that he actually slept with it last night and, as with all new toys, will not let it out of his sight! These are 3 balls with the hand air pump (which is easy to use) and the pump has 2 "needles" with it. I have and will continue to recommend this toy to any parent --human and fur parent-- and anyone who likes to shoot hoops , mainly mini hoops.. *NOTE: I received this item for free for giving my honest opinion about it AND I do appreciate the opportunity to try it and do so!"
