Great portable air conditioner!

I have about 750-800 sq. Ft. Living room area that I need this machine to cool down and it delivered!! Very happy! Hard to find a portable that can handle the size of the room and have a btu rating that will take care of the job. I took a gamble on this one and luckily to my surprise it did it! The actual btu is 12,000 and you need that at the minimum to cool a room of that size down. 14,000 would be optimal but the 12,000 is doing the job just fine. Very happy and now everyone can hangout in the living area without feeling uncomfortable. And just so you know we went through a heat wave and temperatures got to nearly 100 degrees outside and it kept up with keeping the room cool. I was worried it would struggle a bit when temps got that high but it surprised me and did just fine.

I decided to get this unit because running central AC in Southern CA can result in extremely high electricity bills. I've been very impressed with this portable AC. The machine is very sturdy and appears to be built with high-quality materials. It can cool my living room, dining room, and family room ( Totaly is around 1,000 sq ft) in about 20 min. It's both quiet and powerful. I would recommend this unit to anyone looking to save on electricity during the summer. It's also easy to install and remove, and I can still open my window without any issues.
