​I really put this unit to the test right out of the gate. In a single session, I ran a full "boatload" of dishes, two back-to-back showers, and even gave the dog a bath. The water temperature remained consistently warm and satisfying through every single task. It handles a high-volume workload without the "cold water sandwich" effect you sometimes get with smaller units. ​One of the best features is the speed. It gets warm almost instantly, which is a massive upgrade if you're used to waiting for a traditional tank to recover or a smaller unit to kick in. ​The hookup is straightforward in terms of where things go, but it is "complex in itself." While the instructions are clear, the physical setup requires some patience and precision to get the venting and gas lines exactly right. It’s a top-notch piece of hardware, though I feel the manufacturer could streamline the connection points a bit more ​The Bottom Line ​If you need a propane unit that can actually keep up with a family’s daily needs (and the pets!), this Camplux is a winner.
