Complete carburetor rebuild kit for the 2000-2002 Arctic Cat 500, covering all model variants including the original 500 4x4, FIS, and TBX configurations. The Arctic Cat 500 used the same Suzuki 493cc liquid-cooled SOHC 4-valve engine found in the Suzuki QuadRunner 500 and QuadMaster 500, but wrapped in Arctic Cat's significantly superior chassis featuring full independent double A-arm suspension at all four corners, hydraulic disc brakes, and CV-joint front axles. The 493cc engine's SCEM-plated cylinder uses a nickel-silicon coating that eliminates the need for a traditional iron liner, reducing weight and improving heat transfer. A piston cooling oil jet sprays oil directly onto the underside of the piston crown for improved thermal management under heavy loads. The Keihin CVK34 carburetor provides consistent fuel delivery through its constant-velocity slide design. The 2002 TBX variant introduced the tilting dump bed concept that would continue across Arctic Cat's utility lineup for years. Kit includes all O-rings, gaskets, jets, needle, and float valve with NBR rubber for ethanol resistance.
