You'll “Whale-y” Love This!

I am absolutely in love with this adorable ceramic whale spoon rest! The design is both cute and functional, which makes it a perfect addition to my kitchen. Because it's ceramic, it has a nice weight to it and feels sturdy and well made. The size is great—it's large enough to actually hold a spoon or cooking utensil without feeling cramped, and the bowl is deep enough to catch drips and keep the counter clean. One of my favorite features is the raised whale tail that lifts the handle of the utensil. It's such a clever design detail that keeps the handle elevated and easy to grab. The quality is excellent, and I can already tell we'll get many good years of use out of this cute little whale. Larger and Better Than I Expected!

Not only is this thing cute as bug and the color I had hoped (to match my kitchen accents and prized stand mixer), it is even larger than I expected it to be- which is a good thing. When looking at the seller's photo with a wooden spoon, I imagined it to be smaller that what it actually is. Their wooden spoon must be larger than mine are. The bowl portion easily fits a soup ladle or a egg turner. The ceramic finish is flawless and the eyes and mouth are positioned better than some other whale spoon rests I've seen. It's easy to clean too; a quick rinse in hot water has washed away grease and even dried on gunk.

very cute spoon rest. we broke our old one and bought this and i was skeptical about quality. i was wrong. well built, sturdy and good looking one. its great when cooking. it arrived in less than a day and was well packaged.
