Ok for some projects. not great for others

1 hand always has to hold it only leaving 1 hand to move the materials as everyone should have already guessed. so needless to say projects that don't need 2 hands to keep materials flowing its good for, quick fixes depends on what they are. butt if ur project has ruffles or bunching materials, this is not for those. So good price for what it is & it does help on some projects so its a 50/50 depending on what u need done. I don't like the position you have to use with the machine, they need to change that for people with hand issues

Am dubious...

My expectations: Easy to use; easy to hold; ability to sew thicker pieces of material. For me, not that user friendly, not easy to hold, not enough room to insert material so, can't sew thicker pieces of material. A little tricky to keep the stitches from pulling out. I'll work on the use. As far as holding it, I'll set it on a table to "hold" it. The reason I bought this was to be able to repair cloth bags that have thicker material, and are harder to hand sew. It would cost too much to return it, so...But, it could be good for quick repairs needed in an office environment. Just keep it in a drawer for emergency repairs. As for other types of repairs, buy a thimble, a pack of needles, and a spool of thread.

I am not that coordinated!

Really hard to coordinate holding item and fabric. Difficult to put a seem/2 layers of thin fabric under foot: needle doesn't go up high enough. Can't imagine it is able to accommodate leather as pictured on the box! I plan to return
