I selected these shorts for my daughter to wear to camp. The dress code requires knee length which is hard to find in girls athletic shorts. I sized down but these are true to size for boys sizing. if ordering for a girl size down. They are a quality material and good stitching with a drawstring. I would order these again. These are a moderately thick true to size short with elastic drawstring waist. Shorts have two front pockets that boys will like. Girls can wear these too so consider that. Material is a French Terry which will be cool in hot temps. Legs openings are suited to size of shorts. Kids can waer these for summer fun.
