The photos of this really do it no justice. It's a very attractive dark frying pan with a shiny surface. I was a little apprehensive about using it for fear of messing it up but I just followed the instructions and on my very first use of it everything went perfectly with no sticking at all. I was also a little apprehensive about buying it just for making crepes, but you can make other things on it too. It's a small and light-weight pan, so it is perfect for making crepes and very easy to twist for getting your batter even. From what I understand, this will last a life time and I have no doubts about the quality of a French product. I'm very pleased and would absolutely buy De Buyer again!

Best and ONLY pan for Crepes
This de Buyer Blue Steel Crepe Pan is perfect for making crepes. Once you "season" the pan as per the manufacturer the crepes glide on the pan! So much fun to cook when you have the right tool!
