Skil-Care has been developing and designing products for nursing homes, hospitals, rehabilitation facilities, and homecare settings. Our ultimate goal is to enhance resident care and in addition, to assist healthcare facilities in reducing the occurrence of skin breakdown in the bed or wheelchair.
The footrest extender secures to the wheelchair footrest for improved posture, prevents foot drop, feet from slipping behind the footrests and raises the footrest for improved posture and seating alignment. The cushioned back protects the lower leg from bruises resulting from wheelchair contact. It secures easily with quick-release straps and is covered in durable, wipe-clean vinyl. The cushions are removable to accommodate heights of from one to four inches and this model is the 3" height variation and accommodates 16-18" wide wheelchairs.

Legs rest easy!
This leg panel with extension is perfect for a broad person who needs a wider wheelchair but whose legs are not strong enough to stay on the leg rests, resulting in general discomfort and at times, one leg falling into the gap between the leg rests. This panel is easy to mount, very good quality, adjustable and worth every penny!
