Very firm, does not sag, but I purchased for a full sized bed, much shorter than a king sized. It is comfortable to lean on while reading or watching TV. Beautifully perfect an easy solution for a head board. I purchased this for my daughter’s king size bed for when she comes back from college for her summer break. I think she will love it as well. I kept the plastic that came with it in the box so that it can protect it when she’s not here for the long term. I had no problems setting it up in my own as the bracket came with four screws and allen wrench. Then slip it through the back sleeve and under the mattress it goes! Perfect! 04/12/2026
