These clips are hard to use for regular hands and more so for arthritic hands. You cannot grab a lot of hair with these and I feel like the magnets are not strong enough for my expectations, even though I have thin hair. So I imagine a person with thick hair could be disappointed. I do like the look of these clips, and the quality seems sturdy, but application is not easy and getting a satisfactory placement in the hair is not easy enough for me. Not sure if this experience would be with all these types of hair clips (any brand) or just these specific ones.
