Very sturdy. Reminds me more of a thin melmac than pressed paper like Chinet. A bit pricey, but IMO worth it.

Great Hold!

I purchased the plates for a baby shower I hosted for my daughter, and I was very impressed with the durability of the plate, no leaks, no drooping with nachos on them NO NOTHING!!! the only down side would be, I didn't get a smaller size..but I just could not beat the price for the quantity.
