So far I've been very pleased with my Brazil nut orders. I have not had a bad batch. I'm sure that if by some chance I do have a bad one- as I have read in product reviews. I suppose it happens sometimes- Swanson will make good on the order. Quality product so far.

Organic, raw, unsalted are more favorable for any food. Organic means the food has not been sprayed with chemicals while it was growing. Raw means it has not been subjected to heat, which has the potential for destroying some of the vitamins and minerals in the food. Unsalted means the food is not salted with regular table salt, which may contain some chemicals we don't need and not contain the iodine that we do need.
