Avent - 2 Teats 4 Holees with Fast Flow 6 Months and +

I am a mother of two boys (3 and 1). Both of my boys had colic as well as dairy allergies (and my second son has soy allergies also). I still breast feed but my supply has reduced and his appetite has increased. We started giving him bottles of my stashed supply at night in order for him to fill him up before he fell asleep and I could pump at night to make up for it. He refused a lot of bottles in the past and only one had worked enough to satisfy his belly. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this Philips Avent Anti-colic baby bottle and fast flow nipples, I found the second bottle my son will take. He started out only accepting nipple that had a large "areola" area (haha not sure how else to describe it) so I was a little adverse to trying this type of nipple again. The fast flow nipple is a little fast (go figure) for him but it still provides colic relief (I know, I would have never guessed it. Just needs a good burp and hes out for the count at night). The good thing is that I have another flow level I can use to see what his preferences are. I gave these nipples 5 stars because I believe they are well constructed and definitely as described, fast flow. So pros would be 1) the anti-colic properties of the bottle and ridges on inside of nipple 2) another level of flow (because we all know every baby is different) 3) feels like a good, quality nipple 4) there are 4 in this pack (extra is always nice in a pinch) I can only think of one con and that would be that it is not as "breast-like" as other brands but, again, every baby is different. You never know they will like something until you try.

Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this Nipple. I have 2 boys (3 and 9 months) both boys have used the Philips Avent bottles and nipples. However we hadn't used the anti colic fast flow nipples previously. I must say I've been a fan of theirs due to the way the nipples are interchangeable with their different bottles and how nicely they're packed. I naturally have a fast flow and we have used less speed of flow until my guys get a little bigger and comfortable using a bottle. The fast flow seems to make more with my own speed so they both like the faster flow. My son took to this nipple as if there was absolutely no difference.the nipple really helped him with his gas
