Great shorts! Ideal for hiking and working in the garden! The material is the typical synthetic material that is used for hiking shorts and pants. Although it is synthetic, the material feels comfortable and has the right amount of stretch and it dries quickly if it gets wet. The shorts fit true to size. I love all the pockets, most of them with zippers, and the largest zippered pocket fits my iPhone. I have already washed them and they keep up well. Very happy with these shorts! For reference my measurements are 42-32-39, 165%23, 36B, 5'10”.

These shorts fit quite nicely and I hate ordering clothes online not knowing if they are going to fit weirdly or not. They are very flattering. The pockets are well sized. My phone, which has an enclosed case, fits in both front and back pockets. The fabric has a nice "give" to it and is quite comfortable. The color is slightly darker than pictured. Leg length is appropriate, approx 2 1/2 - 3" below fingertips. Overall, a good buy. I am 5'5" 138 lbs, 30" waist in Medium.
