Huge upgrade from the T550

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very impressed with the T16. This is quite the upgrade from my T550. The screen is beautiful, it's quick, connectivity has been seamless, overall an impressive machine. The "larger" screen reminds me of going backwards to my laptops of the late 90s, but the additional real estate is welcomed back. What isn't going backwards is the vibrancy of the screen. The not so great: not sure why they couldn't fit an SD card slot on here, I'm not a fan of the larger mousepad, the height of the keys are appreciably lower but I'm getting used to that - just not as fast typing on this as I am on the T550. I do wish the keyboard were closer to me with the mousepad lower as my watchstrap excessively rubs while typing. Lastly, I guess the ThinkPad series is trying to get away from looking too business-y. I miss the true black color of the T550 and I'm not a fan of the bulging geometry of the top/back of the screen. I miss the very flat geometric surfaces. Overall a great machine and I can't imagine anyone would be disappointed.

Based on my experience, I recommend the Yoga Laptop, Yoga All-in-One desktop, IdeaCentre, and Think Pad T16 as good investments.
