This is a great flip-cover phone case. You can talk on the phone with your face not touching the screen. Because it's matte-translucent, it never looks dirty. The translucent cover was optional for me, I didnt care.... but I love it now! The iPhone I have has the always-on, dimmed clock screen and it works great to glance at it, even while it's closed and protected. Plus when navigating in the car, I can actually keep the cover closed as well. It's not magnetic closure, but it stays shut because of the design. PLUS best of all--the form factor of the thing over all is closest to a naked phone in your hand as you can get and still have a flip-shut cover on it. Tim will tell how it does when dropped. But it's a flexible rubber-like case, stiff enough to resist impacts I would guess. There is no hollow spots in the corners for shock-absorption, again it think it's to give it the glove-like fit. I give it 5 stars after 1 month of use.
