O'Berry Counter Snap Kit for Wood Floors - Squeeeek No More

Worked really well for me on hardwood floors. A couple of pointers: Drill the pilot hole to the specified depth. I put a mark on my drill bit to make sure I drilled deep enough. Then slowly drive the screw in until it just touches the top of the fixture. Stop for a second, then give it a quick torque with your drill/driver to snap it off. Worked for me every time. If you check out their YouTube video you will see that they also do a quick torque at the end to get a clean snap-off. It took about 5 screws to completely eliminate a really annoying squeak in my kitchen floor. It also helps if you can screw into a floor joist underneath. The small holes are almost unnoticeable after filling with some wood putty and stain. Great product.
