Still won't start

The plug that goes to the top of the sending unit didn't match so I took the connector ends off of the other pump and put them onto the ends of the quantum pump. The pump is humming when the ignition turns on but there is no fuel coming out of the sending unit and there is no fuel in the white plastic line leading from the pump to the top of the sending unit.

Seems to work as described!

I installed this pump in a 99 chevy s10, with a 4.3. It was definitely not plug and play. I used a China made fuel pump assembly off Amazon, installed the pump in it. Had to depin some conectors, made it look factory though, no sodering. Has normal fuel pump noise, different than factory though, alot quieter. Over all time will tell, so far so good, I'm happy with my purchase!

Nice Pump, Not Plug and Play

Pump seems of nice quality and it is definitely quite. The ability to plug and play was not realistic. The white fuel supply hose would not work with the pump housing. Had to replace it with fuel injection hose and the electrical connector didn't work with the housing either. I had to solder the wires together and there are no instructions included either. If you're not mechanically inclined or willing to do all these mods you'd be best to spend the extra money and buy the drop in housing assembly instead.
