DeWalt DCS355B/DCS355D1/DWE315K Oscillating Tool Replacement Platen # N251936

Great oscillating tool with a powerful brushless motor and variable speed trigger (which I prefer over variable speed wheels). I like to adjust the speed of cut as I go. It does have a 3 speed selector switch to cap it's Maxi speed but it's still variable speed via the trigger up to the maximum set. This tea alone makes this one of the most versatile multi tools out there. I also like the quick tool less blade changing system that allows me to use the more readily available and cheaper blades that do the work just as well as the more expensive starlock blades. This tool is very economical in its design, has a lock on switch that works well with the 3 speed selector switch as it only locks on when the trigger is fully depressed. It has a very long runtime that can take advantage of the smaller battery sizes to keep the weight down and also keep it a little better balanced. This is yet another tool that I use almost every day for cutting drywall, trimming baseboard to fit, notching out underneath countertops to fit faucets, removing grout on tiles in showers, and so on. I would definitely purchase again if and when needed.

Simple works great with total blade speed control and a multitude of bladed solutions for any renovator. This is permanently in my tool boxes. What really sells this unit is the ease of blade changes and the light that actually aims where your working.
