Not! Big and Tall Socks

The socks are advertised as Big and Tall (sizes 12-16). I have a size 11 foot. I buy the larger size socks because I've found that all socks nowadays tend to run smaller also because I have leg circulation problems and the elastic band at the top of socks are not as restrictive for a larger leg circumference. With these socks not only the length is too short (1-2") above my ankle, but the elastic band at the top is very tight. Even when cutting the the top elastic band off of the sock to increase circulation the circumference is still way too tight. I cannot see how these socks could ever work for someone who is really big and tall (size 12-16) foot. Unfortunately I did not use them before the short window for return expired and now I'm out $64 because this was a bulk purchase.
