Good Exterior Patching

Good patching compound for exterior wood repair. Mix powder with water to toothpaste-like consistency. Applies smoothly with putty knife. Workable for 20 minutes. Dries hard in 2-3 hours, Very hard. Easy sanding. I wouldn't use it if you want to stain. It dries a yellowish tan color. Washes up with water.

Product is NOT stainable like it claims

This wood filler claims to be stainable. It's NOT even close. Do not buy if you want to stain it. It doesn't sand without it looking blotchy. I followed what instructions there were. When I contacted the seller, along with a quote from the description stating it's stainable, I received a two line email that said, “this item is not returnable” So much for customer service. Thank goodness I tried a sample board first.
