Foldable Manual Bread Slicer, Adjustable Thickness Bread Cutter with Acacia Wood Base, Hand Crank Slicer for Homemade Sourdough Bread

I would like to give this item 4.5 stars... But since that's nit an option, I round it up. This is a very cool way to slice bread and not squish it. If you're like me everytime you cut a loaf of bread, it winds up decently squished. With this I absolutely had no problem of squishy bread. The only reason I would dock a half a star is because the little suction feet on the bottom do not help it's stick to the countertop. When I am in a place where I will have this in a permanent area I am going to screw it down. Then it will be a perfect 5 star item. The blade is very sharp and cuts bread with ease. You do have to apply some pressure and kind of guide/push your bread through the cutter. Assembly was easy, and I just used a butter knife to put the handle on. tlThis is very nice if you're making homemade bread often or you really enjoy cutting up some baguettes. (There seems to be some sort of error right now with uploading pictures into Walmart reviews. Once this gets corrected, I'll be sure to add a few pictures.)

This slicer looks great on the counter with its solid wood base and sturdy metal build. It feels well-made and doesn’t slide around while using it. That said, it does take a little practice to get consistent thickness, and cleaning around the blade can be a bit tricky. It’s also a bit bulky, so you’ll want to make sure you have space for it. Overall, it’s a reliable, good-looking slicer that works well once you get the hang of it.
