5-Tier black metal adjustable shelves with 2 different installation options -H or L shaped. Shelf dimensions - 57.24 x 13.38 x 68.5" The shelves were packaged well for shipping and were delivered incredibly fast -especially for a larger parcel. It states in the directions that wall anchors are required to ensure stability and I was not aware of that. Because of that requirement, I could not use this shelving for its intended purpose-since anchoring it while in the “L” configuration would not have been possible in my situation. I had to set up the shelving in the “H” configuration as I had access to a suitable wall and that was adequate. Purchasing this shelf makes sense if you require/desire the “L” option but, when in the “H” configuration, it's just two regular shelving units without the stability of each side having 4 legs. I would not feel comfortable describing this as a heavy-duty shelf. I'll probably end up placing the surplus pantry and linen items on these. The shelves are easy enough to put together if you've assembled wire shelving with the plastic locking clips before. They are aggravating but they are also adjustable and that makes this method well-worth it. The instruction manual is a bit vague. All the parts have letters assigned to them in the manual but the actual parts do not have the letter labeled on them for identification. Not a big deal. All of the bottom poles have little metal feet. The top poles have a little black cap on one end and the middle poles have two open ends. The manual shows two different types of shelves. You'll never know it by looking at the manual, but the “E” shelves have four openings for the legs whereas the “F” shelves only have two. I put this together myself and it would have done so in a speedier manner if the manual's text wasn't so small, my eyesight wasn't so abysmal and I wasn't in a dark cellar. Pretty straight forward.
