OK these pants fit within the size but are slightly smaller than most pants this size, I measured and it seems like the butt area is slightly smaller. That said the waist of the pants have so much stretch that could have gone larger so it really is a matter of if you have a bigger butt go one size up. The pants are 100% polyester and the label says you can machine wash but the listing doesn't so I'll try washing it and if I have issues I'll update the listing. The length is good, the light polyester seems actually good quality, the seams look good. The legs have cuffs and the waist band is wide. Like I said if I have issues machine washing it I will let you know. I will wash it in cold water given the material. I'd recommend these for summer or spring weather, I plan to wear mine as it warms up. I didn't deduct any stars for the fit because it does fall within that standard range for US sizes.
