Pampa Grass is a showy, spectacular ornamental grass that provides a focal point in any landscape. Its long, arching, narrow green leaves grow several feet tall and may turn tan in cooler weather. In late summer to mid-winter it is topped by magnificent feathery-looking plumes that may be cream or pale pink. It tolerates most soil conditions and, once established, is drought tolerant. This tough plant likes full sun and needs room to grow. Plant this vibrant foliage grouped together in garden beds. Or combine them with other annuals and perennials in garden beds or containers for a beautiful mix of seasonal color. For healthy plants that will bloom all season, water until plants are established. Then simply water as needed. Feed plants with an all purpose fertilizer in spring and fall at the base of the plant.
