How to Replace a Stylus
- Lock the tonearm and unscrew the cartridge to keep it stable.
- Remove the old stylus by gently pulling it straight out—opposite the direction of the tonearm.
- Hold the cartridge steady with one hand. Use tweezers or fingers to grasp the stylus and pull it out.
- Install the new stylus by gently pressing it into the slot where the old one was—don’t force it.
Stylus & Record Care Tips
- Clean records with a carbon fiber brush before and after each play. Use a record cleaning machine occasionally.
- Clean the stylus with an anti-static brush. Always brush from back to front (never side-to-side or backward).
- Make sure your anti-skating, azimuth, and tracking force are properly adjusted for the best performance and minimal wear.

Why choose Ellpitical Stylus
Elliptical stylus tips have a more precise shape than spherical ones, allowing better contact with the record groove. This results in clearer, more detailed sound—especially at higher frequencies.
Though some believe elliptical types cause more wear, it's actually spherical tips that apply more pressure in a small area, leading to quicker damage.
