Men's W96H-1AV Sport Watch with Black Band

Easy to set up, reliable Casio quality, looks great for both casual and business occasions. We will see if the battery really lasts 10 years. It appears to have a removable band held on with tiny phillips head screws instead of the traditional spring loaded clips. That is a great improvement as I've had watches in the past with molded in bands and once they broke the watch was trash.

The Hour:Minute display is 6.5mm or 1/4" tall & the full display is in high or maximum contrast. Not only that the clear plastic 'crystal' has a slight outward curve which helps with minimizing reflections, aiding display visibility. I believe the W96H (in its various colours) may be CASIO's best digital watch for those needing a highly visible display. ___ The users manual which can be downladed @ Casio's website using code 3239 @ the Manual download page does not state what kind of battery is in the watch or give an expected battery life. There you will find setting adjustment can only operate by advancing times (no backtracking, meaning full cycling to go backwards). ___ Size of the watch is: 12.6mm or 1/2 " thick; 35.8mm wide case, 38.5mm over buttons; and, end-to-end might best be considered 50mm or 2". ___ Note the end-to-end measurement is an approximation as the W96H has an intergrated/dedicated wrist band, which can not be changed out. Tough a replacement can or may be acquired.
