It can be used with a Quick Switch Hex adapter and is compatible with 3/16-inch shank extensions.

Augur head pulls through joists with minimal effort. Bit is flexible, however you definitely need to use a placement tool to properly bend and use. Fish eye holes on both ends of the bit are a lifesaver. Great price, quality tool.
