My wife loves this removable pouring shield that's compatible with her 5 qt mixing bowl , perfect fit keeps all ingredients in the bowl without spilling out all over the place . Works a lot better than the stock shield

I got this to replace the stock KitchenAid shield that I've had for over 30 years. I have the 4.5 quart mixing bowl. The fit was quite snug, but I was able to put it on with one hand. The coverage of this new shield has easily almost eliminated the gap between the bowl and the head of the mixer. It is far superior when compared to what I had before. This will hold the flour in so much better when I'm making bread. I especially like that the flap closes on the pour spout, so it really seals everything in. Now I don't have to breathe a flour cloud anymore while baking. It's also great for making buttercream frosting. I won't have to be breathing in a powdered sugar cloud anymore. This really is a great product. One of the photos is of the old model of shield that I had that was KitchenAid brand, and the other photos are of this new one. This new one is so much better.

I have been wanting one of these for quite a while, but I couldn't justify the brand name price. This splash guard was the perfect fit for my kitchen aid mixers stainless steel bowl! I put 1st piece on and angled it up slightly and slid the tabs from the pour spout in. It has a lift up flap on the pour spout so you don't get splashed or ingredients fly all over. Great for long time bakers and those just getting started. Who doesn't like less clean up. Love it❤️❤️❤️
