Perfect cushioning on my heel

I bought this a month ago to assist in the healing of my foot where I have bursitis in my heel from karate training. The doctor told me to put my feet up for two months. Considering I work full time and spend most time on my feet that was impossible. I read the information online on the gel contend and how it designed for extra heel cushioning so I gave it a go. Best decision ever, my heel is getting better even though I'm still walking around

Gel-Contend 6, good walking shoe

I still have an older version of the Gel-Contend 6 from years ago. That's why I bought another one to replace another worn out Asics. I use the Gel-Contend 6 mainly for walking, and it's very comfortable. The shoe is very light, and there is ample support in the back. The mesh fabric is breathable so your feet don't feel that sweaty. I would recommend this shoe, especially if you can find it on sale.
