Kitchen Elite 6 Qt Slow Cooker, Stainless Steel Ceramic Crock Pot and Tempered Glass Lid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I used Kitchen Elite 6 Qt Slow Cooker, Stainless steel Ceramic Crock Pot with Glass Lid. It's so surprise, I cooked the beef brisket, I used the slow temperature, after 10 hours, the brisket is so delicious, the taste so good and tender. The slow cooker has the stainless steel outside, that why don't touch on the surface, it's hot, although not enough burn my hand, just carefully. The slow cooker is running quietly and has 3 options, low and high temperature and warm, it's easy to use. The removable ceramic black crock is easy to clean but needs to be careful because it's too heavy. The glass lid helps me look how to the food in the crock. This size is fit with my family( 4-5 people).

The stainless steel base is lightweight and sturdy with a single nob that turns to Low, High, Warm and Off. It comes with a glass cover that fits well with the ceramic base. The black ceramic base is heavy, with a glossy finish that makes it easy to clean by hand or in the dishwasher. I used a plastic crockpot liner also and was pleased to see that it worked well without melting or leaking. The ceramic heated evenly and my food cooked well without burning. I've had trouble with slow cookers in the past cooking too fast and drying out my chicken. So I made chicken noodle soup, low and slow, and found the chicken cooked perfectly juicy. Then I tried a fast cherry dump cake on high and it turned out very yummy with the cake batter cooked golden on top. I've also tried a favorite meat and cheese spaghetti dish cooked low early in the day and then used the warm setting to keep it the perfect temperature for dinnertime. It has a 6 quart capacity, which is great for feeding a hungry family of 4-8. There is no digital display so it will stay on the setting that it's cooking on until you turn it off. I would recommend setting a timer next to it so you don't overcook anything. Overall, this is a great staple slow cooker to have for every day family cooking.
