Key item features

  • Boss Hog Street Bandit Series Converters handle up to 500 hp

BEWARE of ACC - Poor quality or No quality

Back yard made junk. Claims to have "cut his teeth" on Chryslers is what the owner told me personally, but the bolt holes wouldn't line up with my flex plate that was perfect fit for three other Chrylser torque converters. he asked to see my flex plate and then drilled new holes in it with out my permission so his off-centered converter would bolt up to the motor. After I proved him wrong on the phone - he stopped all communication with me. Burned me for nearly a $1000 and left me w/a 30 Lb door stop. Beware he knows ZERO about Chrysler trans and even less about Chrysler converters

Quality Control missed this one.

Prior to install I did a check fit with the flex plate and discovered that this converter took a 7/16ths bolt with corse threads vs fine threads. I found no bolt manufacturer that makes a bolt that would work for this application. Luckily I hadn't poured transmission fluid in it yet. Dont know if this was an oversight from the manufacturer or if, for some unforseen reason, ACC uses a bolt that nobody else uses for their torque converters. Contacted Jegs about the issue I had and they had no problem replacing the converter with a different brand.
