Very good product at very good price
This router works well. Be sure to upgrade to the latest firmware (v 4.1.0 as of now) or you might be disappointed. The hardware is very nice (lots of cpu and ram, etc) for the price. Performance is solid. Power use (about 5W idle) and heat are very decent. GL.inet build of OpenWRT has a decent interface and bundles some nice features like OpenVPN and Wireguard support. Nerds can still login and/or use OpenWRT packages and/or Interface (but be careful). Again, be sure to upgrade to the latest firmware. A few small negatives although only the most discerning user is likely to notice or care. Not a lot of extra hardware lights or buttons or ports. Not true/original OpenWRT (better in some ways, not so in others; YMMV). Not 100% perfect but fairly close and a very good price for this class of hardware. Bought 2 units and both arrived quickly and work well. Give it a try if it looks like a good fit for your needs and budget.

Easy VPN setup!
Bought this to replace an older tp-link wifi6 router so that I can have a WireGuard VPN setup at home. The range seems to be similar to tp-link but it was so easy to setup the VPN server. Within minutes I had a Beryl connect to my home network for a travel VPN setup. Good investment!
