Trio

The tacit dedication of the three musicians - Günter Christmann, Mats Gustafsson and Paul Lovens - to nothing but the musical flow, the confidence within their playing helps the listener stay in tune with them. However, despite the transparency of the musical events from which is derived the immediacy of it's live creation, the feeling of distance remains. The music remains a realm in itself, and retains for itself an independence from the limitations of combined time and space. Done, consummated, always heard in a different way, never finished with.
