Expensive, but a slight upgrade from 9100

Wrote a normal review but it said "profanity" so it wouldn't post. Anyway Its overpriced for what it is. The only useful new things are the 3 colour options and the air vents, other than that its just a fliptop 9100 with useless features like bluetooth.

One step forward, two steps back

Much lighter and more comfortable than previous models. Although with many drawbacks... The thin lens holder in the front has split already after 4 months of use. The lens no longer has 'true colour' like the old 9100 helmets making the vision very dark and green like an old school helmet, unfortunately this makes it worse for tig welding. The lens colour change options are fairly useless and all are pretty much green anyway. Bluetooth is also useless when the helmet has buttons. The vent director fogs up if its on the 'face' option, meaning it always has to be directed at the lense anyway. And 3x the price of a 9100 helmet. I wouldn't recommend this helmet to tig welders, but its perfect for mig and arc.
