Children’s hearing can be very sensitive. Some sounds can be overwhelming at times and make them feel stressed and anxious. Don’t worry, Calmer Kids Secure are here to help! Calmer Kids Secure reduces the most annoying sounds and helps them focus on the important ones by smoothly directing sound to their ears. Humans can hear lots of different sounds. We can put these sounds in a line from low to high based on their frequency. For example, thunder would be a low frequency sound and a bird tweet would be a high frequency sound. Your voice sits in the middle of these sounds. We call these ‘mid’ frequencies. Mid frequencies are where the most stressful noises can be found such as classroom/playground noise and alarms. This is what Calmer Kids Secure helps to reduce. Calmer Kids Secure is made from a single piece of soft and durable silicone which acts as a safe and secure lanyard that can be worn over or behind the head. Never worry about children losing Calmer again! The soft silicone lanyard joins up the Calmers, holding them in their ear without pulling them out. It’s as light as air so they won’t be distracted when wearing it but makes using and removing Calmer a breeze. If they drop one, it’s super easy to find on the end of the lanyard. Available in four fun colours (Red, Yellow, Blue and Translucent). Its discreet design means children can wear Calmer Kids Secure without feeling self-conscious about having them in their ears. Most people won’t even notice they have them in! Calmer Kids Secure accurately guides sound into our ears resulting in less distortion for a cleaner, more defined and pleasant audio experience. Sound sensitivities: Hyper-sensitivities to a wide range of stimuli are often things that children find challenging. These can include sensitivities to sounds, smell, touch and taste. As Calmer reduces frequencies between 2 kHz - 8 kHz irritating noises are reduced to a much more manageable level.
