Madden NYC Women's Buckle Skort, Sizes XXS-XXL

This is a cute cargo utility skort with a skirt-like appearance in the front and the shorts underneath, which are the same material as the skirt part, visible from the back. I purchased it in the warm taupe, which is a wonderful shade of brown. The belt and buckle in the front are a cute touch but are sewn in and non-adjustable, being for decorative purposes only. Though it has no pockets on the side, it has two roomy pockets in the front that I wish had buttons to keep them closed. The material has a soft, suede-like appearance and feel and is quite comfortable. The fit was true to size for me in an XXL. The skort has a slight stretch to it though I'd caution trying to go for too tight a fit since there doesn't seem to be a clasp to hold the zipper in the back. Overall, I was pleased with it and look forward to wearing it as a nice, casual switch up to the usual denim skirts and shorts I wear when going for a cute western vibe.

I had tried on the larger size in the store, but the material was stretchy. I could tell it might get looser the more I wore them. I found the smaller size online and ordered them. They are adorable, fit great, and are really cute for a fun summer evening out. I love skirts with shorts, too, because you never have to worry about the skirt being too short when you bend over! Very nice quality for the price! Five stars!
