I'm i glad I got this item in the black Friday sales as I would have been disappointed if bought at full cost. It took almost 3hrs for 2 people to put together who both have experience with diy. The instructions in part are a little sketchy.. I also didn't expect the fridge freezer to be separate

It's small for a 1-4 year old for sure. One of the counter tops only came polished on one side which was the side that went facing down. And yes I triple checked it HAD to go faced down if not the screws couldn't be screwed in. Sooo the sink side isn't not polished. It needs to be sanded down as well and polished if not it will stain very quickly. One of the handles was defective. A hole was missing to screw it in. I will have to put some sort of glue and drill. The drilling didn't hold it for more than one day. One screw was defective as well. Luckily it came with one extra screw unless I missed one somewhere. But basically the rest you better not lose them. It has a smell as well but it should hopefully go away after a few days. The only reason I am not returning it is because my daughter really wants to keep it and building it takes time. But it is annoying by that I will now have to purchase glue, sand paper, and some sort of stain/polish. I don't recommend. And it was smaller than I expected it to be but that's my fault for not measuring.
