With its easy solderability, high thermal resistance, and attractive enameled sheen, magnet wire finds use in a large variety of applications including transformers, wound coils, motors, relays, solenoids, Tesla coils, clock/watch coils, instruments/guitar pickups, and arts & crafts. The raw copper in our magnet wire is drawn to meet specific size requirements based on standards created by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA). The magnet wire meets the NEMA MW 80-C standard for operating temperature (155°C/311°F) and insulation makeup. This magnet wire is available in a great selection of gauges from 14 to 44 AWG, as well as numerous spool sizes for your convenience.
