Razor EcoSmart Cargo Electric Utility Scooter for Adults, 1000-Watt Motor, Green

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Razor EcoSmart Cargo scooter is an ideal commuter option, providing a smooth ride to get you where you need. The set-up only took a couple minutes, adjustments to the seat was easy and an overnight charge ensured it was ready to head to the park the next day. The scooter starts and runs by hand controls similar to a motorcycle, with its throttle and brake system. This may take a little getting used to for some. This scooter has some serious power, especially at the highest speed. I was surprised and very impressed. The recommended age of 18 and up is accurate in my opinion. This was ridden for about 30 minutes changing speeds throughout and it still had battery remaining. I am not in a position to ride this to work every day, but if it was a viable option, I would. I am able to run errands with this and it is a fun, speedy alternative. The display side buttons are pressed to turn on/off the scooter as well as the front LED headlight and rear brake light. The display also allows you to increase and decrease speed. It also displays the current speed and battery life of the scooter. The display is easy to access and utilize. The scooter is meant to be used on paved surfaces as there is no suspension on this scooter. The brake system is a rear disc brake. The brake system works, but the pad is small and you can't make sudden stops. Once you get a feel for the scooter and its five speeds, the braking system is easier to work with and understand. The convertible rack system allows you to use the back seat to carry a second passenger (300 pound weight limit on the scooter) in conjunction with the push down foot pegs. There is a small storage access in the passenger seat. You can also attach the basket for larger items or keep the back section of the scooter bare and use it as a cargo rack. All hardware for these systems are included. This scooter is fun, practical and eco-conscious. The battery life is sufficient for medium distance travels to get you where you need to go.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am in love with this scooter. It is so much fun to ride. It comes mostly put together. Took about 15 minutes to finish assembling. It took me a few minutes to realize the charger and tools were located inside the seat. After that it was a breeze. It goes around 20 mph and seems pretty fast. Charges quickly. The headlight and brake light are great features. Really like the LED display, which shows how fast you are going. The whole family enjoys riding it.
