McCormick Kosher Smoked Paprika, 0.9 oz Bottle

I don't usually buy smoked paprika, just the regular kind. Usually it's overkill on the "smoke" and underflavored on the "paprika." I have to say this was a really good balance. You could smell more of the smoky flavor than you could taste. My first test: I made meatballs. I was nervous about the smoky flavor in particular, so I used about half what I usually do, and the other half was my regular paprika. No smoky flavor at all. The next time, I opted to make chili and went full-tilt and used only this paprika in my recipe. Result: It tastes just like it usually does—no overloading smoky flavor! It's a nice-looking container (par for the course with McCormick) and mixed in smoothly when it was added (so no chunking or clumping). McCormick smoked paprika is a new staple in my kitchen. Upon opening, the aroma of smokiness hits you! It's a great addition to my dry rub for fried chicken. Also, sprinkling it on top of deviled eggs brings a new depth of flavor. It's an amazing product.
