So far I do not know of any power adjustments or that it's still new and needs breaking in. So far my other air hammers, smaller, cheaper, and brands that would surprise you, they have been way more up to heavy tasks that what I'm getting out of my new AirCat. Nice looking and feeling tool, but so far just doesn't have nearly the power I'm used to. All hammers being run off the same compressor with the same flow and pressure. Time will tell. If no improvement, I'll assume it's defective and try another one.
