Beautifully, soft and heavy enough to stay put

As I'm using this rug on top of carpet you might expect it to bunch up or slide around. It doesn't thanks to the attached backing which is non slip, but this area rug would be equally at home on hardwood floors, tile, even concrete. The rug arrived double boxed, and folded inside a ziplock style bag. Unfolding it, the creases faded very quickly allowing the rug to lay flat right away. I had thought about putting it under my kitchen table, but in the end this rug looks so much nicer than the plain black one it's replacing in my living room. So that's where it went. The colors are much more subtle than expected and that's wonderful as it blends nicely with the carpet and everything around it. I am amazed at the quality of this rug. Especially considering this kind of quality generally costs substantially more. But I do have one gripe and that is the stitching on the edging. At the corners the edging overlaps as it changes direction. It doesn't affect the overall look of the rug and most people likely won't ever notice, but if you're a details kind of person like me, you'll probably notice as well. All in, it's a beautiful rug, really well made and has a substantial weight to it. It's machine washable and can either be line dried or machine dried on low heat. I've no doubt this rug will last for many years to come.

I got this to match another rug in my room – it's almost an identical match for half the cost. I'm surprised at how well this one laid flat right out of the box and it looks really great. We have antique furniture in that room and it looks just right. Seems to be very nice quality and the fact that it's washable is such a plus especially under a table. Happy with this!
