How bad can a product be?

Detail for the price is not too bad. The model looks like it was painted by a toddler with many parts/areas having little to no paint allowing the black plastic to clearly show. Even though this is a snap together model many parts do not fit well with many cracks clearly showing instead of fitting together relatively well. I had to use pliers at one point to make parts snap together. I am not expecting a masterpiece, but the complete lack of quality control on the paint/fitting on many parts was very disappointing. Having to do touch up was expected, but having to basically repaint the entire model was unacceptable.
