Does not remove course hair from face. I do love the light going along the face to see hair as you use it. used all 3 speeds. Downfall is that they want you to use the blade only 1 time and throw it out. You get 1 blade in the derma planer plus 6. if you use it 2X a week, that's only 1-1/2 weeks of use. Would be very expensive to keep buying blades weekly.
