Reach for these Curity USP type VII gauze sponges for a variety of wound-care tasks. They can be used for both prepping and packing of the injured area. The cotton gauze sponges have excellent absorbency to help staunch a bleeding wound. These 2 x 2 inch gauze sponges offer versatility, allowing you to clean a wound, apply an ointment or place one as a primary dressing. The material is 100 percent high-quality cotton as ring spun yarn, which maximizes vertical wicking for maximum absorbency. Reduced linting means it won't shed particles when dressing or cleaning an injury. These non-sterile gauze sponges meet USP type VII sponge requirements for standard application. As single-use dressings, these sponges reduce the risk of cross contamination.
