Not as good as the older model, but pretty good!

We bought this when we moved, looking for a model similar to our old (2008) GE micro-convection oven, which I loved! That model had buttons and a dial, in many ways easier for me. One thing I like on this model is being able to hit a number (like 3) and have it microwave for that number of minutes. There's still an "add 30 seconds", so it makes microwave timing easy. The convection seems to take longer to get up to temp. I've only tried it once so far and it was okay, but I'm not sure it works as well as the old one. (That one still works like a champ!!) I'm not sure I'll use the broiler feature; I'd probably just use my gas oven broiler for quickly browning something, and we generally use the outdoor grill instead of broiling things. In all, it's the closest I could find to my old beloved micro-convection. Not perfect, but still a winner overall.

Poor panel design

this is the only model available to replace my GE Profile that lasted only 4 years. The main complaint is the touch pad that is VERY hard to read because the numbers are smaller and are not white. The previous model was much easier. GE should have real people test their products before putting them out to the public.

Poor product longevity

Keypad began failing at the three and a half year point with minimal use. Completely failed to function at 4 and a half years. Other product reviews indicate the same problem: keypad fails allowing only use of a few buttons. I expect better longevity from a brand name.
